My listing in San Marcos is in escrow now, yea! One of the conditions was that the seller had the septic system inspected. First we hired company “H” to come out and do the job. I chose company “H” based on price, availability and the fact that they would bill through escrow. Lesson learned. We should have hired based on integrity, ethics, reputation, and sure…those other factors that I hired company “H” based on are important too…but they mean nothing if the company has no integrity. So, like I said, “lesson learned”!
To solve the problems created by company “H”, I made a bunch of frantic phone calls and ended up getting referred to Wayne’s Septic Solutions. Problems solved. This company, rather I should say, “this man”, came out and spent 3 hours onsite looking over the problem and what the first contractor (I use that term loosely, because as it turns out, their license has been suspended due to them not having worker’s comp!) had told us was wrong – free of charge, because he was so upset at what company “H” had pulled. He told us what really needed to be done, a very reasonable cost estimate for the work (which he stayed within) and the work was done and I had my inspections certs for escrow within about a day and a half!
I highly recommend that prior to hiring any contractor, you check their license status first. Again – lesson learned. I feel very comfortable recommending Wayne’s Septic Solutions to anyone needing this type of work done. (I have no affiliation with this company and compensation has not been given to me for this recommendation – it’s the real deal!) You can contact him through his website or you can phone him at 619-666-6437. Thanks, Wayne!
